It was tucked in as a bonus track on a compilation of TPOK Jazz songs (all from the same concert, I would say) that include \;#039;Lukusa\;#039;, \;#039;Mandola\;#039;, \;#039;Ayant Droit\;#039; etc. The solo and chorus line-up is basically the same as this video, but the background and location is slightly different, with that banner that declares TPOK as the champs missing in the other songs....I have also uploaded the Kekele version of the same song with the only common singer being Wuta Mayi, which of course is a lot clearer, though I\;#039;d say this one sounds better....enjoy!

I honestly didn\;#039;t want to leave to come back to the UK!rnrnI just shot bits of video as and when, most of my time was doing the lesson and learning, I just grabbed video footage as I could get it, rather than going out there to make a \;quot;tuition\;quot; video so forgive all lighting and framing errors, its just that I shot it in the moment!rnrnLokassa came round to showing me the \;quot;mi-compos;eacute;\;quot; tuning whereby the D string is an octave higher than a typical guitar tuning. I noticed that he had played \;quot;Sai\;quot; on the Kanda Bongo Man records and asked him to show me. I said that I had worked it out by ear so if I could hear from the original legend who played it then I would be able to improve. He asked me to show him how I played and I showed him (in standard tuning) to which there is a stretch just to get the notes. Lokassa fell about laughing and said \;quot;Mr.Will you have suffered for zero\;quot;, and showed me how its done in this particular tuning (much easier and no stretch). This was a great source of amusement all day! rnrnMany thanks to Scott Shuster once more from tribe.net who really put himself out to get Lokassa and myself together.

And within each part there is room to improvise provided it sticks within its role or function in the music.rnrnAlso there are more notes in there than I initially hear.
