Today is the 19th anniversary of Franco's passing. On Thursday, October 12th, 1989, he died in a hospital in Belgium.
This is his final masterpiece, recorded in Brussels during the days before christmas, 1988.
He sings in his mother tongue, Kikongo.
Rhythm guitars: Franco & Dizzy Mandjeku, solo guitar: Franco, voices: Franco, bass: Mpudi Decca, percussion: Bosuma Dessoin, drums: unknown.
The pictures were taken in Amsterdam, January 18th, 1989.
